Christ is Risen!

As we yearly journey around the sun, so too we have ushered in another Pascha! A new day and one full of renewal and promise. We have completed our Lenten journey, and we have entered into the joy of our Lord. We have held our candles in the dark to be ignited with the news of Christ’s triumph over death. We have heard St. John Chrysostom’s homily and have been exhorted to accept the last as the first and to celebrate all together this great feast of lights. We have experienced the miracle of Christ’s resurrection and are now ready to go out and proclaim to the world that which we have received. May our faces be joyful and radiant, and may we be small lamps of light to our families, to our neighbor and to the world. Christ is the antidote to sin and death in the world, and we have received His grace with which to go forward. Enjoy this festive time as we continue for 40 days to proclaim this good news!

Christ is Risen from the dead, by death He has trampled upon death, and to those in the tomb He is bestowing life!
