The Saturday Service of
Great Vespers
Every Saturday evening we begin our preparation for the day of Resurrection, Sunday, with the service of Great Vespers. During this service we read psalms praising God's creation,chant hymns celebrating the saints and the Mother of God and pray for a restful close to the day that is done. Here Great Vespers is presented in the Third Mode.
